Geographical and environmental field trips deliver practical experiences that contribute to many KS2 curriculum areas.

- Practise using maps and plans, including digital equivalents
A field studies trip could take in studies of many different types of geographical or environmental aspects - from temperature and humidity studies (microclimates) to river and flooding analyses, coastal erosion management studies, and identifying historical trends using existing data sources for comparison.
